ISLAMABAD, PAKISTAN: The All Pakistan Minorities Alliance Wednesday condemned the recent attacks on the Churches in India. The alliance also appealed to United Nations (UN) to take note of the growing
violence.

“The repeated attacks on several Churches in Orissa, Karnataka and other parts of India within few weeks are a matter of grave concern, said APMA Chairman Shahbaz Bhatti. He said that the growing violence against Christians and Muslim minorities in India is a serious violation of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

He revealed that culprits involved in the attacks must be apprehended and brought to justice.

He declared protection of rights of minorities and their life and property is the duty of every state.

He hoped the Indian government would take up the matter to maintain peace in the country.
