DAGGAR: Unidentified gunmen shot dead a Pesh Imam of the Bambalai mosque in the Shalbandi area on Tuesday.
Sources said the deceased, Asfandyar, resident of the Rustam town, Mardan, was Imam in the mosque for the past three years. He was shot dead by unknown killers at Kabul Cheena.
Later, the body was sent to his native town for burial.
